Christo Participates in Test Development Jim Christo, president of Christo Design Build, Inc., recently participated in a test development session at the Home Builders Institute of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Washington, D.C. He and eight other experts from around the country, spent May 26-28 developing tests for potential employees in determining entry, semi-skilled and skilled levels of Facilities Maintenance and in Basic Principles of Construction.
Christo co-authored "Residential Performance Guidelines for Builders and Remodelers" for the National Home Builders Association. He is a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), Nebraska Certified Green Builder, Energy Star Builder and a Senior Life Director of the NAHB. He served as president of the Home Builders Association of Lincoln in 1989 and 2004. Christo Design Build, Inc. received the Better Business Bureau Integrity Award in 2007.Jim Christo named a Senior Life Director of the NAHBThe 2009 International Builders Show in Las Vegas honored Jim Christo by naming him a senior life director of the NAHB (National Assoc. of Home Builders).
A director must attend NAHB board meetings for 20 consecutive years in order to achieve this status.
